This class will focus on painting flowers in the landscape. This type of “found still life” is a well known genre in American art and was influenced by the interest in naturalism in the late 19th century as well as the teachings of John Ruskin. We will study techniques and strategies for depicting flowers as they grow in nature both in the garden and in the wild.
On Demand Classes are self directed study programs. Students work through the class content at their own speed and on their own schedule. On Demand Classes are available to be reviewed, watched and studied on a continuing basis. Access is evergreen (see FAQs for what that means).
The Class Course. The class content is delivered by written lecture, images and videos on a dedicated platform accessible only by class participants.
Cancellations
If after registration for an On Demand online class and before you have accessed the class, you advise us that you are unable to participate, you will receive a full refund, less an administrative fee of $50 plus applicable PayPal or other payment processor fees or you may transfer your registration to another class of like value. Once you have logged into the class, there are no refunds.
If you have purchased multiple classes at the same time and received a bundled discount (Bundle), refunds are handled as follows. You will receive a refund for classes included in the Bundle but not yet started and accessed by you. The refund will be the amount you paid for the classes not taken, minus a $50 administrative fee, any applicable PayPal or other payment processor fees and the applicable discounted amount for classes already accessed.
